GERANIUM OCELLATUM (Geraniaceae) HA HB 4-6 in (10 seeds)
This unusual little gem from the Himalayas grows low creeping stems on which appear a succession of small black-eyed deep pink flowers in spring and early summer, whist internally pollinated (cleistogamous) seeds are produced later. Although short-lived, it perpetuates itself by self-seeding but never becomes a nuisance.
