IMPATIENS RED WINE (Balsaminaceae) HA HB 3-4 ft

We have selected (and controlled!) a patch of the darkest burgundy coloured form of this vigorous and rapid growing plant. Large red "snapdragons", which produce exploding seed-cases, cluster on thick, succulent stems. You should be aware of its properties to spread and self-seed, especially near water, but if given room to perform it can produce a constant display of colour until the autumn.

Sowing Instructions
Sow in spring outside, either directly into the ground or in pots.
Keep moist in warm, covered, light spot.
Plant out in deep, moist enriched soil for best results.
