 BILLARDIERA LONGIFLORA (Pittosporaceae) HCl
A Tasmanian climber rarely grown or seen - but why? Evergreen leathery lanceolate leaves on thin twisting stems. Creamy yellow purple-tipped waxy flowers in spring, produce outstandingly lovely clusters of deepest violet grape-sized autumn berries. Has thrived on an unprotected outside pergola for many years here.
Sowing Instructions
Sow finely and evenly at anytime in gentle heat or a warm spot outside.
Cover thinly.
Grow on individual seedlings in 3-inch pots.
Plant out in a well drained sheltered position.
