 CAREX FROSTED CURLS Cyperaceae HP
From New Zealand comes another lovely specimen. Forms a compact and amusing yellow "haystack" (perhaps "weeping willow" would be more accurate), from which protrude whip-like stems studded with brown seedheads.
Sowing advice: COVER SEED THINLY WITH COMPOST OR GRIT IN GENTLE HEAT OR A WARM LIGHT SPOT OUTSIDE. GROW ON SINGLY OR IN CLUMPS IN 3" POTS. PLANT OUT IN A WELL-DRAINED OPEN POSITION.
