 CAREX LUPULINA Cyperaceae HP 2ft
Exceptionally large, dramatic, knobbly spikes of seeds, even larger than those on the popular Carex grayi. This rare, bone hardy plant from damp North American woods has probably the most ornamental head of any small grass.
Sowing advice: Z. GRASSES: COVER SEED THINLY WITH COMPOST OR GRIT IN GENTLE HEAT OR A WARM LIGHT SPOT OUTSIDE. GROW ON SINGLY OR IN CLUMPS IN 3" POTS. BEST PERFORMANCE IN A DAMP SPOT.
