 CHIONOCHLOA FLAVESCENS (Poaceae) HP 4-6 ft
"Broad-leafed snow tussock". A fabulously impressive New Zealand grass. Long , stout wands carry twelve inch long heads of golden tassels which tower above stiff compact tussocks. Very long-lived either in the garden or as a cut ornamental grass. One of the three very best grasses we have grown.
Sowing Instructions
Cover seed thinly with compost or grit in gentle heat or a warm light spot outside.
Grow on singly or in clumps in 3-inch pots.
Plant out in a well-drained open position.
