ECHIUM SNOW TOWER (Boraginaceae) HB HP up to 15 ft
The more common blue flowered form of Echium pininana, often called the "Tower of Jewels", is stunning. Our friend Beryl Linehan on Guernsey sent us some seeds of an absolutely pure white one she had discovered. We could barely believe such a plant existed, but planted the seeds hopefully. We were not disappointed! As the buds opened to produce an enormous 15 foot high cascade we were speechless.
