IRIS FOETIDISSIMA CITRINA (Iridaceae) HP 18-24 in
An improved variation of the "Welsh Gladwyn Iris", which has pale lemon instead of the normal mauve flowers. The attractive thick evergreen leaves make a wonderful autumn and winter foil for the large pods of bright orange seeds when they burst open.
Sowing Instructions
Cover with compost or grit 5mm deep.
Sow anytime and keep moist in a cool, light spot outside. Slow to germinate.
Grow on individual seedlings in 3 inch pots.
Plant out in a well-drained sheltered position.
