SAPONARIA OFFICINALIS ROSEA PLENA (Caryophyllaceae) HP 2-3 ft
This ancient member of the carnation family, "Bouncing Bett", should be in every cottage garden, but has sadly disappeared over the years. Sprays of sweetly perfumed, double pink flowers are produced from spring until late autumn when most others have faded. Will form long lived, slowly spreading clumps.
