VESTIA LYCIOIDES (Solanceae) HP

A plant to puzzle and impress your friends. This scarce and handsome Chilean plant has long tubular greeny-yellow flowers throughout spring and summer followed by yellow berries. In time makes a solid shrub decorated with small glossy dark green leaves which produce a musty smell when bruised. Cut back by severe winters, but shoots reliably.
