VIOLA FUJI DAWN (Violaceae) HP 4-6 in

A Japanese friend kindly sent us a gift of some Viola mandschurica seeds. Although we already grow this pretty viola, we hadnt the heart not to sow them. And thank goodness we did! One seedling appeared with attractively marbled pink and cream foliage, a completely new colour-break in viola variegation. As the season progresses the arrowhead-shaped leaves turn a rich dark green, but the colouring returns each spring.
