 CORNUS CAPITATA (Cornaceae) HSh
Outstanding shrub/small tree, with long lived "flowerheads" of enormous, impressive, buttercup-shaped flowers, consisting of waxy, creamy butter-coloured bracts, followed in autumn by red, strawberry-like fruits. Semi-evergreen leaves turn red in autumn. The best performance of all the cornus species. Seed ready stratified.
