GOMPHOSTIGMA WHITE CANDY (Buddlejaceae) HSh

Stiff erect stems with grey leaves carry bunches of starry white, fragrant flowers which are excellent for cutting. This very garden-worthy discovery from alpine South Africa where it is locally called River Star, is a selected form of Gomphostigma virgata, a rare member of the buddleia family. It is traditionally used to restore strength to a very tired person. We grow a lot here!
